What happened
Patient presented to Associate Health post sharps injury with osteotomies instrument. Injury occurred to left palm due to the instrument. Patient states he picked up the instrument up and is slipped and he accidently reacted and attempted to catch the instrument. Education about how prevent this from occurring again reviewed. Area cleansed with soap and water. Advised to monitor for signs and symptoms of infection.
