On [REDACTED] a Wayfair Associate reported an injury to their left shoulder while team lifting a box in receiving. The associate reported that they were lifting the box in order to unload it off the truck and suddenly they felt a pop in their left shoulder causing them to drop the box and fall.. During the investigation the site found that the injury occurred during a team lift but the associate shoulder gave out while in the middle of a team lift. The associate was assisting with the trailer in dock door 146 to help remove the first few items in order to get to items that needed to be unloading with PIV. The box that required a team lift was a [REDACTED] 2.7 Cubic Feet Freestanding Mini Fridge Outdoor Kitchen Component weighing approximately 198lbs. The incident was witnessed by 2 associates and a team lead who reported the incident to the supervisor.
