Adjusting the blanks in a tube

EE at the 1000 ton press was starting anew stack of Mauser blanks. The first couple of blanks did not fall flat into the tube the EE then reached into the tube to fix the stack. When doing this a blank came down the conveyor and hit the EE in the nose. The EE did not shut off the press before completing this task.
