Two WIP units fell off the WIP lines TCar Operator started to pick up the WIP and the EE and other employees saw the units fall so they went over to help pick up the WIP EE did not see the metal plate barrier (floor level) that is in front of the WIP lines and his left shin hit the plate and he lost his footing and his left leg came down the metal plate cutting his left leg The employee suffered a deep wound on his left shin measuring approximately 5 inches There was bleeding and it was necessary to call [REDACTED] The ambulance took him directly to the hospital where he was treated
