On [REDACTED] a first shift maintenance teammate reported to the EHS Manager that they had sustained a back strain the previous [REDACTED] while performing a preventive maintenance (PM) task on the 38 Outfeed Conveyor The task involved manually removing approximately 45 rollers each weighing 26 lbs and measuring 6 feet in length Due to equipment location constraints the teammate was unable to use a 2 man lift and had to hold the rollers at full extension while articulating them into position The teammate began experiencing increasing back pain during the task but did not report the discomfort at the time choosing to complete the job and monitor symptoms
