Before the incident

Team member asked EE for assistance charging a pallet jack battery EE directed team member to pull back the pallet jack handle to be able to access the charging cord located between the handle and the frame of the pallet jack As the team member held the handle back EE leaned closer to unravel the charging cord placing their head between the retracted handle and the frame of the pallet jack While holding the handle the team member got distracted and let go of the handle The pallet jack handle sprung up to its normal vertical positioning As the handle was going up it hit the head of the EE who was unraveling the charging cord
