Before the incident
EE offloading trailer into a hydraulic dumper which transfers the product onto a conveyor system . From there the product is directed into the facility for processing.
What happened
While performing inspection duties on the conveyor line during the offloading of sweet potatoes the employee attempted to remove a carrot from the conveyor. During this action the employee 's glove got caught and his right middle finger became caught in the conveyor.
