Before the incident
EE had finished with sanitation foaming in handheld area. EE was transferring sanitation equipment.
What happened
EE turned off the foaming hose valve to move the portable foamer to a new location. The foaming hose was under pressure because the valve was turned off and air was still being supplied to the foamer causing the foamer to continue pumping chemicals in the foaming hose. EE had lifted his face shield when he turned off the valve. While moving the portable foamer. the foaming wand separated causing the foaming hose to blow spraying in in the face with chemical resulting in medical treatment for bilateral chemical burns.
