Employee was moving through the factory floor on a supervisor bicycle.
What happened
EE states that when mounting a bicycle to transfer components from one line to another area they placed their feet on the pedals and in doing so the pedal came up and made contact with a varicose vein on their left leg causing it to burst. First responders were immediately called to provide treatment. Employee left work in an ambulance to receive treatment at the ER. Biofoam & Vein cauterization took place resulting in treatment beyond first aid and recordable status.
