Before the incident
Employee states that they were grabbing weights (small 8mm metal piece) to place into balancer for spot welding to driveshaft.
What happened
Employee states that the machine they were running pinched their finger suddenly while they were placing a weight onto a welding tray. This resulted in a laceration to the finger a trip to the clinic and the employee was given RX ointment antibiotics. This case was reviewed by the engineering team and controls logic team and they were unable to replicate this behavior in the machine. Controls team states it is an impossibility that this took place.
