Before the incident

Employee was preparing premask to be loaded onto cart. Employee was attempting to pull the metal bar through the premask roll but the plastic cap on the bar was stuck on the premask core plug. As employee was attempting to wiggle and pull the bar through it became unstuck and employee was pulling hard and right ring finger got pinched between the end of bar and the premask end board. Supervisor was called and Supervisor called EMT. Employee was evaluated and released by EMT to go back to work. Employee agreed and went back to work.
