What happened
Driver was delivering lumber to a customer and he had the lumber on top of some wire mesh. The forklift operator kept getting caught on the mesh when trying to pick up lumber. Our driver [REDACTED] [REDACTED]) suggested he raise up on the lumber and he could put some additional dunnage under the wood so he could get the material without grabbing the wire mesh. When doing this the driver 's hand was caught between the additional dunnage and the metal that the forks attach to. Our driver 's hand has some swelling and he 's being sent to Concentra as a precaution. I 've attached a photo of his hand.
