The employee was locking the bathroom door so that she could use the restroom just before the incident occurred. She did not see that the latch was broken.

Employee states that before the shift began she was going to use the restroom. As she entered the last stall she went to lock the stall by the sliding lock. While locking the stall with her right handshe got a cut to her rght index finger by the locking mechanism on the door. The locking mechanism had been chipped and there was exposed sharp edged where the locking mechanism had broken.

EE states that she did not notice the bathroom stall latch was broken and when she went to lock it the sharp edge caused a laceration to her right index finger.
