What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] 1700 a Wayfair associate working in maintenance reported an injury that was sustained at [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] due to lowering a mobile utility platform to install a monitor behind the managers station in returns.;;The associate states that while working in the returns area they needed to lower a mobile platform to meet the need for installing a monitor on a wall. While lowering the platform the platform came down on their side and pinched their arm inside of the ladder slot. The second wayfair associate helped release his arm from the platform. Associate stated they did not feel anything right away it wasnt until they installed the next monitor that they started having pain. Associate stated pain was a 7 out of 10 at the time of injury and was a 7 out of 10 at time of reporting.;;During the investigation the site found that the injury occurred when the associate was lowering the platform improperly.
