Assisting a Passenger

WHILE LANDING THE PASSENGER WAS TRYING TO CLOSE THE BIN EE ASSISTED PASSENGER AND RIGHT HAND FELT A JOLT AND A POP AND FELT TINGLING IN THE HAND FELT NOTHING THEN [REDACTED] FELT WRIST PAIN AND UP RIGHT ARM. Upon boarding opening for deplaning passengers advised me that the overhead bin over 2B would not open. After several attempts I realized the bin was jammed. I attempted to reset it with the mechanism on the side however still wouldnt open. As I tried it again the bin sprung open with all the weight down on my right hand.
