The employee reached out to stop the metal from falling and sliced his right-hand index fingertip. The employee went to NovaCare and received medical attention. The employee told the NovaCare staff he felt faint and lightheaded. The NovaCare staff decided it was better to transport him by ambulance to the emergency room for stitches and any additional care.
