EE was sanding an ACM plenum. The sander kicked and the sandpaper spun against his left thumb to wrist area cutting a 2 1 2-inch shallow wound. Employee was brought to the emergency room and received 9 stitches. EE was informed that there were no work restrictions and can return to work. Sutures
