Loading transformers on a trailer checking voltage of the transformer prior to loading.

Employee lifted the lid of a transformer to verify it was the correct voltage. The lid got stuck coming down & would not close all the way. While trying to get the lid to close the employee had his hand on the side of the lid. It came down unexpectedly & cut his left ring finger as it closed.

Left ring finger was cut and fractured while lowering the lid of a transformer.

Sharp edges of the transformer lid.

Fracture to tip of right index finger from caught between.
