Pulling patient up in the bed with patient assistance and left thumb popped out of place. I grabbed thumb to massage injury and it popped back in place Since the injury it has been wrapped with an ace wrap but is still popping and clicking when bending thumb and there is a knot at the base of thumb and it continues to be very painful.
