[REDACTED] was assisting warehouse to open a malfunctioning freezer door as the door was unjammed [REDACTED] left hand middle finger was struck by a safety pillar causing a laceration.

What happened

At [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Production Supervisor was conducting his daily walk when passing through the boxing room [REDACTED] noticed EE2 warehouse supervisor and EE3 warehouse operator trying to open the sliding door-gate to the freezer which was stuck. Once EE3 was able to push the door open fully [REDACTED] did not notice the safety pillar at the edge of the door sill. While holding the door [REDACTED] left hand middle finger got stuck between the safety pillar and the door causing a laceration to the left middle finger.
