Making a pickup standing on the loading dock

While making a pickup at the loading dock EE and the other helper were assisting the driver with backing the truck into the loading dock He was in front of the truck and EE was watching the back of the truck. Prior to the truck reaching the dock ( about 6 feet from the dock) the Driver stopped and got out of the truck to check how far until the truck hits the dock. At that point He walked up the ramp onto the dock to start the pickup. As he was walking on the dock towards the back of the truck that was in motion backing he stepped on the dock plate that was partially hanging off the dock. Since the plate was partially hanging off of the dock it caused a see saw scenario where the plate flipped causing him to fall to the floor below the dock and the plate fell on the heel of his R Foot.

Right foot contusion

Loose Dock plate that cause him to fall to the ground

Right foot contusion when he fell off loading dock
