Cutting Leather

Associate is unsure of the root cause she mentioned possibly maneuvering the chewbaca material whereas the hides are larger than the cutting block. This is periodical work but with the move the operator is reaching over the block and picking up the end of the rolled hide to place on the bench (see attached). There have been discussions around double butt hides and larger hides due to the over processing required by leather cutters and the risks seen trying to accommodate these.

Strain of right shoulder

Use of leather cutting machine as well bigger hides being processed

Right shoulder strain sprain
