The patient requested to sit in his wheelchair so she bent down to lock the wheelchair brakes and the patient sat down quickly striking her in the face with his elbow. She states she was struck between the eyes. She states she felt an instant headache dizziness nausea blurred vision and unstable on her feet. She states she called her MD who told her to go to UC. She was sent home and scheduled a Healthworks appointment for [REDACTED] for medical evaluation.
