Training another employee to deliver carts with parts to the production line.
What happened
Trainer was attempting to assist trainee in closing a containers metal lid. Trainer reached up to grab the container lid with her right hand at the same time the trainee grabbed the lid from the other side and pushed it down catching the trainer off guard. Trainer 's finger hand was pinched between the lid and the container resulting in a small laceration on her middle finger. Laceration was closed using surgical glue at Occ Health.
