Training on forklift

Team member sustained a hand injury while actively training on the operation of a stand-up forklift. The employee removed his hand from the steering wheel and placed it on the side of the forklift without disengaging the throttle which caused the forklift to turn into an adjacent storage rack. His hand was caught between the chassis of the forklift and the storage rack resulting in a deep laceration.
