What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] employee 1 and employee 2 were throwing away trash into Compactor 1 in the [REDACTED]. Employee 1 lifted the trash can and slipped on the Compactor 1 platform; the momentum caused employee 1 and the trash can to be pulled towards the compactor which caused employee 2 to also slip on the compactor platform and be pulled towards the compactor. Employee 2 struck her right hand against the compactor (trying to catch herself) and struck her right leg against the raised part of the compactor. The employee reported the accident to the on-site process tech after the occurrence.
