What happened
While operating the sit-down press machine Team member mentioned that she placed all the pins into the carrier. She then applied gears [REDACTED] [REDACTED] on top of the pins. Before starting the press she esnured that all 3 parts were positioned correclty. During the operation the middle gear 53 was crushed by the machine causing one part to shoot back and hit her chest. She reported having a pea-sized mark on her chest and continued to have trouble breathing.
