She experienced acute pain after rolling the patient but was able to complete her shift with mild discomfort. The following morning she awoke with worsening pain described as constant throbbing and aching. She took 2 Tylenol with minimal relief. On day 2 she presented to the emergency department where an x-ray revealed degenerative changes consistent with arthritis without evidence of fracture.
