Before the incident

What happened
The right-side container door as difficult to close. While a second employee was closing the left-side latch of the right container door the first employee was closing the right-side latch of the right container door. Both employees were pushing against the door and latch handles. The first employee was using a leverage bar which slipped off the latch handle as the door closed. The first employee had his left hand flat against the container door. The leverage bar struck the left ring finger as it was flat against the door. This resulted in immediate pain in the left ring finger.
