At approximately [REDACTED] in the Turner Fabrication Shop the injured employee had been welding on an approximately 28 ' ft long metal pipe column made of Schedule 40S steel weighing approximately 302lbs. In the process of completing the task he rolled the pipe with his hands looking for a QC Stamp and in the process of doing so the pipe rolled off of it 's supports falling approximately 4 ' ft landing on both of the employees feet. The employee was wearing steel toed work boots that seem to have limited the injury. There were no witnesses to the incident.The employee 's supervisor heard the pipe fall and responded to the area. The employee was helped to the break room where he removed his boots and was provided ice packs and pain away pain reliever from the shop 's first aid kit.
