What happened
Trimmer line hit water control valve in tall grass where a ground hornets nest was disturbing the hornets. They flew up and stung the groundskeeper on his face right hand and his back.
Injury or illness
As the day continued groundskeeper began to experience swelling from stings and felt ill. He went to hospital emergency room where he was treated for toxic symptoms form the stings ' venom.
