Before the incident
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] EE completed ice resurfacing powered down the auger and proceeded to the dumping area to empty the dump tank With the tank raised EE noticed ice protruding from the vertical auger conveyor chute EE turned off the Zamboni and reached over the controls to remove the ice In doing so their finger pushed past and became entrapped between the ejector paddle and chute wall causing fractures and lacerations to their left index finger
