Before the incident
Employee was asked by instore emergency personnel to stabilize the customer 's head and neck as he was lying on the concrete.
What happened
A customer collapsed in the parking lot. A code blue was called. An assessment showed no pulse and no breathing. The instore clinic people began chest compressions and as she started she asked [REDACTED] to stabilize the mans head and neck. It was not noticed prior that the customer was bleeding from the fall. Chest compression and an aed were used and emergency personnel arrived and took over. [REDACTED] noticed then he had blood on his hands and he has several little cuts like we all do working at Hy Vee. He went to Urgent Care. They took five vialls of blood.
