After shift changed noticed bedside table in front of of [REDACTED]. Patient 's bedside table was inside the room so I pushed it out of the way. The were dressing wrappers and other paper products on the table that I picked up to discard. At that point I felt a prick but didn 't think anything off it. As I sat down my coworker [REDACTED] noticed blood on my finger and a small hematoma formed. I washed my hands with soap and water and informed house supervisor as per protocol
