Description: The employee was reaching over construction material New Hose Reels laying on the ground to access and pull a water hose off of the mounted hose rack near oxidation ditch 2. While pulling the hose off the reel employee tripped over the material on the ground and landed on his left elbow. The employee 's elbow is fractured and he was referred to an orthopedic surgeon for surgery. Employee is off of work until [REDACTED]. Suspected Cause: Employee was reaching for hose mounted on fence turned and tripped over hose and fell into construction materials debris cluttered in direct area. Employee landed on his left elbow. Immediate Actions Taken: Employee was taken to clinic hospital. Following non life threatening WorkCare procedure.
