Description: [REDACTED] was walking their reading route. They were walking on uneven surfaces and push pulling fences to gain access to read the customers meter. [REDACTED] was walking down uneven steps and missed a step and felt their lower back right side after stepping down in pain on [REDACTED]. On [REDACTED] the tech felt pain but only when sitting down to drive their assigned vehicle once moving around to complete job duties the pain will succumb. On [REDACTED] tech was in extreme pain and contacted supervisor. Suspected Cause: The suspected cause was due to uneven broken steps. Immediate Actions Taken: [REDACTED] contacted supervisor. Supervisor called Work care. Work care communicated with tech to [REDACTED] area and Heat area every 20 minuets and take pain relievers such as advil tylenol. [REDACTED] is to contact Work care on [REDACTED].
