Description: EE was walking up the steps fine condition made a mis-step and could not put weight on his big toe on right foot it turned out to be dislocated. Those external stairs were in sound condition and there was not snow on them. The employee 's boots were of fine quality and that style had no complaints when researched. Suspected Cause: Employee made a mis-step walking down stairs. Immediate Actions Taken: WorkCare was notified. They advised he go to a clinic for x-rays. X-ray results wouldn 't be available immediately. [REDACTED] the toe hurt even in a static position so he went to an emergency room. X-rays were taken and a dislocation was diagnosed. the toe was reset.
