Description: While raking grit over the edge of a dumpster the employee injured their back. Suspected Cause: The cause was having to reach over the dumpster edge with a rake and then pulling pushing in order to spread the grit evenly Immediate Actions Taken: We will only ever spread grit if it is overflowing. We will not be spreading grit from ground level. IF it absolutely needs to be spread we will use a 2 ' platform step ladder to reduce risk.
