Before the incident
Associate was installing a wire harness on BMW front seat. The installation of the harness began as the seat was moving along the conveyer. The seat stopped in front of a marriage robot that was newly installed and inoperable. To the right of the robot was a metal structure meant to act as a guard for the robot. The Associate placed himself between the robot and the guard and continued to wire the seat. While during this the conveyer started and the seat began to move pinning the associate between the seat and the guard. The Associate pushed the seat back and stepped off the line. The Associate suffered a contusion to his lower back.
