Before the incident
The EE was moving cargo ULDs on the main deck of a [REDACTED] aircraft.
What happened
While offloading full main deck cargo ULDs from a [REDACTED] the employee was pulling the ULDs forward when he tripped on a lock and fell. During the fall the momentum of the ULD continued forward and rode on top of the employee’s right foot. Startled the employee yelled out for help. Two other team members immediately responded assisted him and helped push the ULD off his foot. As they attempted to help him stand the employee experienced significant pain and had to sit back down. Main deck team members notified on site leadership. Staff noticed that the ULD cut had penetrated the outer skin of the steel toe boot.
