Before the incident
Employee was washing dishes and punctured finger on sharp edge of plate. Plate was not broken.
What happened
Employee punctured his finger right hand little finger with a sharp edged objected from the dish machine.Supervisor- was notified and she ran to the break room where employee was located. This is where supervisor took action to care for employee knowing his medical condition as well. Employee is diabetic so this caused the finger to bleed longer than expected. Supervisor assisted employee to the ER due the amount of blood coming out of his finger.
