RN was administering medication to patient abdomen using an insulin syringe. Injury occurred on withdrawal of needle from patient abdomen per RN.

During [REDACTED] med pass I gave a heparin injection with an insulin syringe. When pulling syringe out of abdomen I felt a poke on my right lower pointer finger. Upon checking the needle poked through my glove on right pointer lower finger.
