What happened
Employee was providing EMS care and cardiac arrest management of a traumatic arrest [REDACTED] when bloody secretions expediently exited the suction port on a #5 [REDACTED] during respirations efforts with a bag valve mask and sprayed him in the face. Secretions made contact with employee 's face mouth and eyes. After [REDACTED] was declared deceased by HEMS medics the employee was moved to a ambulance and with the assistance of medics used sanitization wipes on his face and flushed his eyes. Employee was transported to ER fot further tests and documentation.
