Adjusting overhead station fan
What happened
Employee attempted to adjust a powered overhead fan as a riveting work cell when they felt something enter their eye. They removed their safety glasses and wiped their eyes with the back of their gloved hand but still felt irritation and reported to supervisor. Eyes flushed for 15-min irritation persisted. Sent to occupational health clinic where they found an abrasion on the right eye.
