What happened

The injury is a rib injury. I spoke to my PA and need to get an x-ray to figure out if I have a displaced rib or a fracture. She said either is likely to due me having brittle bone disease. The first time I felt pain that day was early in the morning after lifting a heavy patient. The pain first started in my back but later caused shooting pains to my legs as well. I let the nurse I was working with know and she recommended that I take Tylenol. Throughout the day I was still needed for heavy lifting so continued to do so. Throughout the day the pain in my back got even worse and started radiating to my ribs on the front left side. The incident that I think set it over the edge that day was later in the evening when we got a bariatric patient. There were multiple people in the room assisting transfer this patient over from the gurney to the bed but given the pain I was already having it made it much worse and caused more issues.
