What happened
While stepping down the pallet jack tilted unexpectedly causing me to lose control of it. It swung forcefully and struck the right side of my hip. The impact was strong enough that I was unable to walk for a few minutes due to the pain. I sat down to recover briefly while the route leader checked on me. The hip was so swollen and I was experiencing a noticeable limp.
