Before the incident
Employee was loading his work cart with wood.
What happened
The employee was working on stocking their work cart in the back room with wood. While they were stocking their cart a forklift driver for the back room came into their area and picked up a bin bottom. They backed up and waited for about 20 seconds while the employee was stocking their cart. However they started driving forward again and didn 't communicate to the stocker to move out of the way. They bumped the cart with their bottom and since the cart doesn’t move very well it pivoted into the employee who was filling the cart. It struck the employee in the right side of their abdomen with the prong that holds tools on the cart.
