Before the incident
Responded to a [REDACTED] female in active labor with a prolapsed cord. The patient was transported to [REDACTED] ORLD where baby was delivered and resuscitated. After drop-off of patient I remained with the patient 's husband throughout resuscitation presentation of deceased baby to the patient 's husband until arrival of family pastor. The day after the event I noticed I was on edge and having recurring memories of the event as well as other traumatic events related to my employment as a paramedic. I contacted Dr. [REDACTED] a First Responder PTSD specialist and she initiated care.
