Called to floor by inpatient supervisor related to patient yelling and banging on door and walls of room [REDACTED]. Tried to open the door and patient blocked when instructed to stop banging patient reached out of gave me the finger then quickly pulled his hand back in room and without notice reached back out and grabbed my glasses off of my face. Requested him to return them and not break them he went to hand them back to me and when I reached for them grabbed by right wrist and pulled me into the room and opened his mouth and proceeded to bite. I managed to pull away but not until he had punctured my skin with both his upper and lower teeth. However did manage to release prior to further incision by teeth or further tearing.
