Came in on call for emergency procedure at [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] for dr [REDACTED]. Injury occurred during repositioning of a leg in stirrup for patient under general anesthesia for GYN procedure that was originally placed by md. Patient left leg too far extended in stirrup. I loosened the extension clamp to bend patient knee up into proper position however the boot did not slide along rail smoothly so it took quite a bit of effort to move leg. Did not feel initial injury just a little sore after. During the next emergency procedure with dr [REDACTED] I mentioned to the scrub nurse [REDACTED] that I think I had messed something up in my back the last case as it was starting to hurt more. Progressively hurt more throughout that day after getting home at [REDACTED] on [REDACTED]. I needed help getting on and off the couch but could still walk normally without spasm just extreme soreness. On the morning of [REDACTED] I could not get out of bed due to spasms of back and was in excruciat
